Data Access and Funding
The program provides access to valuable datasets and funding opportunities that support economic research. The most recent datasets used are summarized below.
TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute)
TÜİK offers a wide range of essential datasets that form the backbone of empirical economic research. Among its most valuable resources are its detailed survey data, enabling researchers to analyze income distribution, labor market trends, and various socio-economic indicators. These datasets are available offline on a project-by-project basis and offer vital insights into both household and firm-level economic dynamics.
Ministry of Industry and Technology
The Entrepreneur Information System provides access to firm-level datasets that are essential for empirical economics research. Researchers can use these datasets to explore firm performance, productivity, and financial stability across various industries and regions. Similar to TÜİK, these datasets are available offline and provided on a project basis.
Refinitiv Workspace
Grants access to comprehensive financial data and analytics essential for research in finance and macroeconomics.
TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye)
TÜBİTAK supports research by offering grants for research projects to help improve academic progress.
